Recent rain helps cut into drought

Drought conditions continue to improve across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa thanks to April’s rain. The area classified as ‘abnormally dry’ has lessened considerably in southern Minnesota, and the area in ‘extreme drought’ has gotten smaller.

Rain chances continue to look good for us, from early this weekend to early next week as an active pattern continues.
