Snow starts Friday morning, wind & snow combine in the afternoon-evening
As it almost always goes, this storm system will be testing everyone’s patience Friday morning. Snow will start falling between Midnight-3am in north Iowa, but it’s going to take until nearly 6am for snow to start falling along the Hwy 14 corridor. Despite that delay in starting, this storm system is going to be packing a wallop with a snow/wind combination from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Also, temperatures will be taking a sharp dive Saturday, dropping below zero Sunday and staying there for a few days. Snowfall timing, expected totals by Saturday afternoon, and additional details are included here.
