Snow tapers off Saturday, wind continues and temperatures drop
Snow will continue to fall overnight into Saturday morning, becoming lighter as it does. Wind, however, will remain strong all night, making for areas of blowing snow, drifting, lower visibility and slick roads.
This latest round of winter weather will ease its grip on the region this weekend and bitterly cold air will move in to take its place. Highs are going to take an impressive tumble through the next couple days. Temperatures will drop below zero Saturday night and remain below zero through at least Tuesday morning.
