Weekly drought monitor update

Here’s the latest from the US Drought Monitor. No big surprises. The drought has expanded and intensified a bit. Not pictured here, but one little corner of Wisconsin just east of Superior is now categorized as “Exceptional Drought”. This is the first time drought has reached that category in Wisconsin since the US Drought Monitor started in 2000.
