Widespread freeze expected by Saturday morning
Arctic air is making its way in the ABC 6 Weather First area which will drop temperatures into the 20s by Saturday morning resulting in a widespread hard freeze.
A **FREEZE WARNING** has been issued for parts of far southeast Minnesota and all of northeast Iowa including Mitchell, Howard and Floyd counties. The freeze will signal the end of the growing season.
Low temperatures are expected to be in the teens and 20s through most of next week.
