$1.8 million in USDA grants for telehealth, distance learning in rural Iowa
(ABC 6 News) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced they’ll send nearly $2 million to rural Iowa.
The USDA plans to send resources to improve telehealth and distanced learning resources for Iowans in the countryside.
Some of those funds will reach our area, as Belmond Community Hospital will receive nearly $500,000 to upgrade its telehealth capabilities, accessible to people in Hancock County.
