Albert Lea public invited to free skate to learn more about referendum
(ABC 6 News) – The city of Albert Lea invites the public to a free skate at the city arena this week, where residents can learn more about the upcoming referendum.
On April 9, voters will decide whether to allow the city to borrow $9.8 million for improvements to a handful of city landmarks.

The referendum would total to about $47 added on to tax bills for property owners with a home valued at $100,000.
The free skate takes place on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
