The discussion centered around what it takes to start a business in the community, the struggles and triumphs they faced, and tips for others curious about going into business for themselves.
“As a business owner the most important thing is, I want to satisfy my customers. So. whenever my customer comes in, whenever people come eat at my restaurant, I want them to be happy. I want them to be satisfied,” said the owner of Lawlasoe Market, Chi Lawlasoe.
Many of the people who attended Wednesday’s panel said obstacles didn’t stop them from perusing their dreams, and they hope their tips and support help others do the same.
