Thursdays Downtown Vendor: The Bee Shed

(ABC 6 News) – Each Thursday this summer ABC 6 News is highlighting a different vendor at Rochester’s Thursdays Downtown. This week we’re introducing you to The Bee Shed.

The Bee Shed is a group of honey producers whose honeybees roam the prairies and woodlands of Southeast Minnesota, fusing the energy of the sun with the minerals of the earth into the perfect natural food – Honey

The Bee Shed specializes in seasonal honeys which come from bees using different nectar sources.

“It’s all just regular honey its pure, its raw, we don’t do anything to it. We do filter out some of the wax and that, but other than that its basically from the hive into the bottle, so its all natural,” said Co-owner John Shonyo.

This is their fourth year they have been at Thursdays Downtown.
