Capitol Hill honors Finseth, Elmstrand and Ruge

(ABC 6 News) – At the nation’s capitol, Minnesota lawmakers gathered on the House floor today to honor the lives of the three Burnsville first responders killed in the line of duty.
“They gave their lives to save seven children from harm in that house, that awful morning. Nothing could be more heroic,” said Rep. Angie Craig (DFL) “I ask members to join me in a moment of silence, from a grateful nation.”
Firefighter Finseth, Officers Elmstrand and Ruge had their lives tragically cut short on Feb. 18, while responding to a domestic violence call.
