(ABC 6 News) – A Minnesota Republican hopes to unseat Democratic U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar.
Political newcomer Joe Fraser says he’s always thought about running for elected office and now feels it’s time to give Minnesota voters an alternative.
Fraser, a 26-year Navy veteran, says immigration needs to be addressed on the southern board.
He also says getting government spending under control is also a priority, along with protecting mining in the state.
“wW should be making the investments in Minnesota in the ability for us to harvest natural resources that we have,” started Fraser. “To protect our supply chain, to create jobs.”
Fraser officially launches his campaign for US Senate tomorrow with several stops across Greater Minnesota.
