One of Chip Shots co-owners Nick Vreeman attended John Marshall High School with Finseth. Like so many others, this is his way of giving back to a family and community that has lost so much.
“It’s a completely tragic loss for his family and everyone,” said Vreeman. “These are always painful things to see in any community but especially our own.””
Thousands of people have rallied together to give whatever support they can to the families of these first responders. From Go-Fund-Me donations to fundraising events, everyone is doing what they can to help out.
“We’re just giving back to the community in anyway we can,” said Hannah White, Chip Shots’ general manager. “And this is obviously a huge tragedy. So we’ve couple people in town doing it so it’s like, it would be a great idea to kind of jump on that as well.”
