Controlled burns in Rochester delayed

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Fire Department and Parks and Recreation will no longer conduct a controlled burn on Monday.

Originally slated to take place at Assisi Heights starting around 1 p.m., dry conditions and low humidity raised a risk for wildfires.

The fire department would have used this time to conduct training it says is hard to replicate in a normal training environment.
