(ABC 6 News) – Governor Kim Reynolds is blaming President Joe Biden for what she calls a “crisis of illegal border crossings” at the southern border.
The governor argues the crisis can be seen in Iowa.
“Interstate 35, major interstate, is a direct route for the drug cartel and human traffickers from Mexico to Iowa, and the Midwest,” the governor said.
Reynolds comments come just as senate negotiators have finally unveiled a long-awaited bipartisan border security package.
But it remains unclear whether the bill has enough support to pass in the house.
