Austin hosts one-day Crazy Days event

(ABC 6 News) – Austin businesses hosted a one-day event for their loyal, local customers.
Austin’s Crazy Days block party kicked off Thursday morning with games, lunch specials, store savings, face painting and even free pony rides. The event had it all.
“I just really want the families to come out and enjoy it. This is our way of thanking them for being customers and helping support all our businesses out here, and keeping things local. So, come out with your kids and just enjoy the beautiful day.” Shoe Sensation manager Jody Orth said.
With the help of some sponsors, these businesses were able to come together and put on this family-friendly event. Later in the evening, there were free snacks and treats, sidewalk sales, and mascot photo-ops.
Austin Crazy Days hope to continue bi-annually from their start in the fall of 2021.
