Beating the heat at the lake

When we all crank the A-C, it can create problems for our grid.
Fortunately, we can help take a load off of the power grid, by not cranking the A-C, and avoiding things like running the dishwasher during the heat of the day.
But perhaps one of the most fun ways to beat the heat is just to throw caution to the wind, and dive into the lake.
It may not be a ground-braking way to beat the heat.
But going to a lake river or pool is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to do it.
Water Parks of Minnesota have been serving the Rochester community for a few years now.
At Foster-Arend park, swimmers can find their armada of inflatable attractions to help them swing, dive, and launch themselves into the lake.
But if getting wet isn’t your forte, you can rent a kayak, paddleboard, or swan boat, to adventure around the park.
Water Parks of Minnesota is open at Foster-Arend park from 9 am to 8 pm.
