The Fit Loon to open new store in Kasson

(ABC 6 News) – After a year in Med City, a popular Rochester business is expanding to Kasson.

The Fit Loon is opening a second store at 301 W Main Streeet in Kasson. Selling the same items, the store will have a different name. It will go by Three Oh One, a play on words of the store’s address.

Owners Sam Robinson and Aili Sella looked to expand in Rochester and couldn’t find the right fit. A space opened up in Kasson, and now Robinson is bringing his business to his hometown.

“After tons of looking around at different locations in Rochester, we kind of determined that being in downtown with a lot of foot traffic, The location had the right kind of build out we needed with the plumbing in the right spots, and the electrical and the right size,” said Robinson.

A factor in the decision to move to Kasson is Robinson and Sella have a lot of customers from the area. Business is great, but for the owners, it’s so much more than selling drinks.

“It’s honestly just like creating friendships behind the bars. When our customers come in, and we just really get to know them. We just get to know what’s going on in the community. It means a lot to us to just like make these friendships behind the counter,” said Sella.

Three Oh One will have the same menu as The Fit Loon with a few modifications. The store is expected to open in early 2023.
