Minnesota legislation would require insurance to cover gender affirming care

(ABC 6 News) – The Minnesota House Commerce, Finance and Policy committee is currently reviewing legislation that would require insurance providers to cover gender-affirming care.
The bill would not allow policies excluding gender affirmation coverage to be sold in Minnesota.
Care would include treatments to help restore or maintain a person’s health, as well as prevent deterioration.
