Minnesota Youth of Year announced

(ABC 6 News) – The Boys and Girls Club of Rochester announced the 2023 Rochester Youth of the Year on Saturday.

Century High School junior Baylie Chappuis was nominated for her leadership, service and resilience.

The Boys and Girls Club saying on their website, they’re “confident that Baylie will continue to be a leader and a force of positive change for our Boys & Girls Club of Rochester community.

Baylie has been a member of the club for six years and is a leader in the dance program.

She says the club has given her “the determination to become a better leader and person.”

The winner of Minnesota Youth of the Year will be unveiled on March 19, 2023.

A previous version of this story stated Baylie Chappuis won the 2023 Minnesota Youth of the Year, she won the 2023 Rochester Youth of the Year and is nominated for 2023 Minnesota Youth of the Year.
