(ABC 6 News) – The People Over Parking Act would ban minimum parking requirements across Minnesota.
Right now, a number of cities require developers to have a certain number of parking spots when building or renovating buildings.
The bill‘s author says those requirements force developers to build more parking than needed and pass those costs onto renters.
