Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan speak at tourism conference in Rochester

(ABC 6 News) — More than 500 travel and tourism leaders from across Minnesota are gathered in Rochester for the 2024 Tourism conference.

Lauren McGinty, the Executive Director of Explore Minnesota, presented the state of the industry, as well as a new state marketing campaign, “Star of the North” during the morning event.

Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan are speaking on Tuesday afternoon.
