New DNR fall colors map shows peak colors are coming to southern Minnesota

(ABC 6 News) — Although it may not feel like fall quite yet, for many places, it is at least starting to look like it.

The most recent Minnesota DNR fall colors map shows most of northern Minnesota has reached peak colors already.

In our area, most places are still only at 25-50% but that is going to change quickly, with the DNR estimating southern Minnesota will see peak colors by next week.
