Pedestrian struck at crosswalk in Red Wing

(ABC 6 News) – A vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing at a crosswalk in Red Wing, Minn. at around 3:20 p.m. today.
According to a crash report form the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, a Hyundai Tucson traveled northbound on Highway 61 while a pedestrian crossed the street at the intersection of Franklin Street.
According to DPS, 18-year-old Kayda Clover sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Marys in Rochester.

The driver of the Hyundai, 76-year-old Karen Etheridge, sustained no injuries.
This crash is currently under investigation.
Red Wing Police Department, Ambulance and Fire Departments assisted on the scene.
