(ABC 6 News) – The cough syrup manufacturer Haleon issued the voluntary recall for two popular cough medicines.

Robitussin Honey C-F Max Day Adult and Robitussin Honey C-F Max Nighttime Adult have been recalled due to a potential risk of microbial contamination.

Contamination can lead to deadly infections for immuno-compromised people.

So far, no cases have been reported of anyone getting sick from the cough syrups.

If you have either of these medications, you should return them or simply throw them away.
