Maryland man allegedly arrested with M30 pills, stolen gun sentenced to 213 more days
(ABC 6 News) – A Phoenix, MD man was sentenced to 364 days in jail, with credit for 151 days already spent at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center, Thursday.
Darnell Jones, formerly of Rochester, MN, pleaded guilty to a charge of 1st-degree drug possession in July, after allegedly being arrested with about 400 M30 pills.
M30 pills often contain fentanyl.
Jones was sentenced to 5 years’ probation after his jail sentence, and could receive an additional 115 months if he does not complete his probation without issue, according to court records.

(ABC 6 News) – The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and SE MN Violent Crime Enforcement Team (VCET) took a Rochester man into custody Friday, allegedly after catching him with 400 M30 pills and a stolen gun.
According to Capt. Tim Parkin with the OCSO, 33-year-old Darnell Jones was arrested after law enforcement searched a residence in the 600 block of Germain St. SE, Rochester for narcotics.
Parkin said around 400 of the pills, which often contain fentanyl, were located, along with drug paraphernalia and a handgun stolen from Albert Lea.
Jones faces recommended charges of 1st-degree controlled substance possession and sale, as well as felon in possession of a firearm, Parkin said.
