Bailey was accused of 1st- and 5th-degree criminal sexual conduct in December of 2021, after a woman told police Bailey violently raped her at their shared place of work.
He was scheduled to appear for a pretrial hearing Tuesday, followed by a jury trial Jan. 29, before he entered the petition to plead guilty.
According to Bailey’s court documents, he pleaded guilty to the amended charge in exchange for an agreement that his criminal sexual conduct sentence would be served concurrently with his shooting sentence.
He was immediately sentenced to 165 months, or about 13.75 years, with 592 days’ credit.
