Rochester police: Stop leaving valuables in your car
(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police took two reports about smash-and-grabs yesterday, after robbers saw the victims’ purses through car windows, broke the windows, and stole the purses.
Despite multiple reports of thefts from cars, and reminders not to leave valuables in unattended cars, Captain Casey Moilanen said many residents are still leaving items like purses and wallets in their vehicles.
