Rochester Rainbow Choir hosts “A Rainbow in Harmony”
(ABC 6 News) – The Rainbow Choir will soon present “A Rainbow in Harmony” at Peace United Church
The Rochester Rainbow Choir was founded by two community members aiming to bring people together in a safe, inclusive space while expressing creativity through music.
The concert will feature the choir singing pop songs and will be free to attend, but donations will be accepted.
Donations will fund the rights to new music for future concerts.
“We’re an open and accepting group, we don’t have auditions, any adult is welcome to join regardless of their ability,” said Dylon Starr, the director of programming and music at Peace United. “It’s just an important place and an important opportunity for singers of all different abilities to be able to come together and make great music.”
The concert will take place at 6 p.m. on Jan. 13.
