Stewartville Fire and Rescue to hold Emergency Response Training event
(ABC 6 News) – Stewartville Fire and Rescue is conducting an Emergency Response Training Event Saturday at the Central Education Center.
According to a Facebook post, the training begins at 7 a.m. and is scheduled to last until 5 p.m.
Emergency response personnel will train for different hostile events and will practice with imitation firearms.
The community should be aware there is no threat of actual emergency at the Central Education Center at this time.
Stewartville Fire Department, EMS, public safety and law enforcement will be onsite for the
training.
Staff, students and community members are not allowed in the building while the training is taking place.
