Multiple Crashes on Highway 52, no major injuries reported

(ABC 6 News) -A semi truck appeared to have crashed into a car near 37 Street Northwest in Rochester and two vehicles appeared to have crashed on Highway 52 near 19 Street Northwest.

The two incidents are unrelated.

Regarding the crash near 37 Street, a semi and car appeared to have collided while traveling northbound on Highway 52.

A Lexus GS collided with the front of the semi, sliding along the highway before coming to a stop in the middle of the road.

According to a Facebook group reporting on the crash, emergency responders transported the driver of the car, sustaining minor injuries.

The driver of the Lexus GS, 34-year-old Fadil Jeylani, sustained non-life threatening injuries. Mayo Ambulance took Jeylani to St. Marys.

The driver of the semi, 25-year-old Trent Meyer, was reported to have not sustained injuries.

The crash near 19 Street involved two vehicles heading northbound on Highway 52. A Chevy Trax and Toyota Siena collided, eventually stopping on opposite sides of the highway.

The driver of the Chevy Trax, 58-year-old Carol Moechnig of Frontenac, Minn., sustained non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to St. Marys by a Mayo Ambulance.

The driver of the Toyota Sienna, 60-year-old Scott Durocher of Eagan, Minn., did not sustain injuries, according to a Department of Public Safety report.

Both crashes appeared to have been cleared.

Rochester Police Department and MNDOT assisted on the scenes.
