(ABC 6 News) – Students from St. Francis of Assissi surprised Rochester law enforcement with some kind letters as part of an annual tradition called Tiny Hands, Big Hearts.

The students stopped by the Government Center to hand off their thank you notes to some police officers.

“The fact that they would take time out and send us messages and draw and take their time to think about us, and appreciate us, it’s really nice and sweet and I’m sure everybody is going to appreciate it,” said Christ Weber, an officer with RPD.

The students also visited Fire Station One to drop of more notes and for a tour.
