15 years probation for man who sexually assaulted 4-year-old

(ABC 6 News) – An Austin man who pleaded guilty of sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl received 15 years’ probation in Mower County Court Thursday.
Dustan Kenneth Branson, 46, was accused of digitally penetrating the child while living in the same household in 2020.
He was accused after the child reported pain to her mother and emergency department staff, and told them Branson had assaulted her repeatedly.
Branson pleaded guilty to two counts of 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct in June of this year.
He was sentenced to 36 months in prison, but that sentence was stayed.
Branson was also sentenced to a $5,000 fine, 100 hours of community service to be completed at an undetermined time, and will register as a predatory offender.
