(ABC 6 News) – An 18-year-old Mason City man has been charged in connection with the armed robbery of the Casey’s earlier this month
Jesup Allen Ward is facing a charge of robbery in the 1st-degree, a class B felony.
On January 3, officers responded to the convenience store at 813 North Federal Ave. at 9:39 p.m. on a report of an armed robbery that had occurred.

Video surveillance showed a suspect pointing a handgun at employees who said the suspect demanded money.

No injuries occurred from the incident.
Ward is currently in custody at the Worth County Jail.
