2 sustain life-threatening injuries in Hwy 52 motorcycle crash
(ABC 6 News) – A motorcycle crash in Goodhue County on Monday sent two people to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 7:36 p.m. on Monday, a 1996 Honda motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 52 when it lost control and stopped in the median near County 1 Blvd in Leon Township, Goodhue County.
The driver, Bruce Mcallister, 67, from Eyota and passenger, Sylvia Johnson, 53, from Eagan, both sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
Mcallister was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was not wearing a helmet.
Johnson was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. She was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation. Their condition are unknown at this time.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, Cannon Falls Ambulance and Fire, and Life Link Helicopter.
