2 taken to hospital after Fillmore County crash
(ABC 6 News) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Fillmore County on Monday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP), at approximately 3:26 p.m., a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling eastbound on Main Street in Spring Valley while a 2012 Dodge Caravan was traveling northbound on Hwy 63 when they collided at the intersection.
Terry Allard, 62, of Grand Meadow and the driver of the Dodge Caravan, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to St. Marys Hospital.
A 16-year-old male driver of the Pontiac was also taken to St. Marys Hospital. The condition of his injuries were not reported.
The MSP says both were wearing seatbelts.
The MSP was assisted at the scene by the Spring Valley Fire Department and the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office.
