A SPARKTACULAR Halloween at Apache Mall Friday evening
(ABC 6 News) – SPARK, inside Apache Mall, will be hosting a SPARKTACULAR Halloween event on Friday evening.
The safe, fun, and not-too-scary event is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is geared toward families and kids of all ages especially toddlers and Pre-K through grade 5.
SPARK says there will be games, sensory experiments, a costume contest and a costume parade through the Apache Mall. There will be two prizes awarded to winners of the costume contest – one for the best family costume and the best individual.
Families will have the opportunity to make and take their own fairy dust, spider eggs, or monster claws slime.
“Most children love dressing up for Halloween, but in Minnesota, adults usually dislike the Halloween weather. We’re excited to offer an after-hours experience at the museum that is both warm and safe where families are able to play, experiment, and enjoy time together,” said Heather Nessler, Executive Director. “Adding science programming to an already fun event is a highlight, but so is seeing children and their adults dressed in all sorts of creative costumes!”
Tickets are $12 for SPARK members and $20 for non-members.
