ABC & Toy Zone signs returned after store posted photo of suspects
(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: ABC & Toy Zone confirmed early Friday that the group of teenagers suspected of stealing their “sale” signs from in front of the store have been identified and will return them later in the day.
(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester toy store that recently announced its impending closure says a group of teenagers stole several “sale” signs from in front of the store yesterday.
Owners Steve and Rene Nordhus emailed customers Tuesday that the toy store will close, and the pair is retiring from retail.

“To the group of kids who took the store closing signs in front of ABC & Toy Zone at Miracle Mile today and ran down Civic Center Drive and turned north at 11 Ave NW about 4-4:30 p.m. today waving the signs around, can you please return all the signs and posts that you took,” the store’s Facebook post reads. “Our closing sale just started and we really would love to have all those signs back. Thank you!”
ABC & Toy Zone posted a photo of several suspects on the store’s Facebook page.
