Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis Club looking for support to help fund new inclusive playground
(ABC 6 News) – The Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis Club is looking for public support to help fund a new inclusive playground and miracle field at Edgewater Park.

The Legacy of Play Contest, awards one nationwide Kiwanis club $25,000 in playground equipment to be used for a place for people of all ages and abilities to come together.
This project has already received support from numerous individuals and entities in Albert Lea including other Kiwanis clubs, the City of Albert Lea, foundations, businesses and other service organizations and individual donors.

Voting ends on Friday, September 30.
The 10 projects that receive the most votes move on to the final judging phase with the winner to be announced on October 13.
The estimated cost of the playground is 1.25-million dollars.
They are hoping to break ground on the playground project in the spring of 2023.
