Austin man receives 5 years probation for child porn possession, dissemination

(ABC 6 News) – An Austin man was sentenced to 5 years on probation after pleading guilty to possessing and sharing child pornography.

Dughlas Lionell Hill, 30, will face two years at the MN Correctional Facility in St. Cloud if he violates probation in that time.

Hill was accused of two counts each of possessing and disseminating child porn after uploading Child Sex Abuse Materials (CSAM) to Dropbox in 2021.

Hill pleaded guilty to one count of each charge in August.

According to court documents, the file-sharing and -storage organization provided Austin law enforcement with Hill’s usernames, email address, and addresses.

According to court documents, Hill admitted to encountering and receiving child porn from other Dropbox and chat users.
