Austin woman injured in single-vehicle crash on I-35 Monday morning

(ABC 6 News) – A single-vehicle crash on I-35 in Freeborn County sent an Austin woman to the hospital on Monday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) says the crash happened around 7:00 a.m. on I-35 at mile point 16 between Clarks Grove and Albert Lea.
Laura Moen, 44, of Austin was traveling southbound on I-35 when the vehicle lost control and crashed into the median cables. Moen was transported to Albert Lea Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The MSP says the road was ice and snow covered at the time of the crash. The crash report said Moen was wearing a seatbelt.
The MSP was assisted at the scene by the Clarks Grove Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance.
