Big Island Rendezvous Education Fundraiser slated for March 14

(ABC 6 News) – Big Island Rendezvous & Festival is inviting the community to an
education fundraiser on Friday, March 14, 2025. Money raised will help support educational programming aimed at bringing history to life for students through the immersive experiences of the Big Island Rendezvous.

This year’s fundraiser will be held at the Albert Lea American Legion Post 56. The Legion is located at 142 N. Broadway in Albert Lea.

Social hour will kick off the evening’s events at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Plus, Big Island Rendezvous is inviting guests to enjoy a wonderful meal, camaraderie, and the opportunity to bid on incredible fundraiser donations.

Some of the items up for auction include:

  • Freeborn County Fair: Four Reserved Seating Tickets for Confederate Railroad
  • Piggy Blue: VIP Dinner for six
  • Alpha Media – Four 2025 Minnesota Twins Tickets, Strike Zone Package & Advertising
  • KCPI The Breeze: Ad Package: 300 :15 sec ads (on-air & streaming)
  • KAUS My US Country: Four 2025 Winstock Festival Tickets & Advertising Package
  • KTTC: $2,000 Advertising Campaign
  • Metal MN Wall Art & Metal Vikings Wall Art

Tickets are $25 per person or $150 for a table of six. To secure your spot, please contact the

The reservation deadline is 12:00 PM on Friday, March 7.
