Byron Good Neighbor Days to kick off Thursday

(ABC 6 News) – Byron’s staple summer event, Byron Good Neighbor Days, kicks off Thursday, July 14 and runs through Sunday, July 17.
Thursday there will be an authentic Mexican fiesta and a puzzle hunt, and on Friday there will be a fireworks show.
"Every year the celebration is good for the town. The events are all over the town, the businesses get involved, the people get involved. It’s just great fun and great timing. One thing that’s nice about Byron Good Neighbors Days is it’s not a cost to the citizens. We have great sponsorships that help us out. So all of the events are free," said Byron Mayor Daryl Glassmaker.
