Celebrate Rochester: New Year’s Eve celebration at Mayo Civic Center

(ABC 6 News) – It’s almost time to say goodbye 2022 and ring in 2023.
Experience Rochester is hosting a FREE community event at Mayo Civic Center on New Years’ Eve that will feature daytime family activities and evening entertainment from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Family-friendly activities will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will include roller skating, arcade games, an interactive ice carving display, and live entertainment by local bands. A kids ball drop and bubble celebration will take place at 5:00 p.m.
Evening entertainment begins at 7:00 p.m. with a lineup of local and regional bands, and more. VIP reserved tables are available for purchase, HERE.
Local food vendors and breweries will have food and beverages available for purchase throughout daytime and evening events.
“We’re excited to host an all-day New Year’s Eve celebration for the Rochester community,” said Joe Ward, president of Experience Rochester and Mayo Civic Center. “Our team has worked diligently over the past several months to provide a fun, safe and engaging event for everyone to enjoy. We also want to encourage everyone to round-out a complete Rochester New Year’s Eve experience by supporting our diverse local restaurants and retail options before or after their Mayo Civic Center visit.”
Although admission is free, financial donations are encouraged that will support area non-profits.
