Century High School Beefs up Security for Homecoming Weekend

(ABC 6 News) – There was increased police presence at Century High School for it’s Homecoming event. After a threat was discovered earlier this week in school.

The threat was found in the bathroom on Thursday. The school district confirmed that it was a school shooting threat, that mentioned today’s date. (10/01/2022)

District and school leaders decided to not cancel events.

Issuing a statement saying:

“It takes these threats very seriously… The district administration and Century High School Leadership investigated the threat and at this time have found no further evidence to substantiate these claims.”
