(ABC 6 News) – An apple a day may keep the doctor away, but certainly not the fun at Sekapp Orchard.
Sekapp Orchard is a family-owned business in Rochester that has been open for decades located at 3415 Collegeview Road E.
The orchard is a family-friendly farm just outside of Rochester, and is great for family trips to pick apples and go for fun wagon rides!
The Kapauff family bought the orchard in the 1960s.
In the early 1990s, Terrance Kappauf, or as customers might know him as, Fred Sekapp, bought 80 acres of land. He took over when his mother retired.
“It’s just in your blood. Never really left here, never really wanted to do anything else. Nothing in this world is easy and everything that’s worthwhile is hard work and it’s just a great place to be,” said Sekapp.
Sekapp Orchard welcomes people from August to December, not just for the apples, but corn mazes, pumpkins and everything in between.
