Fillmore County crash sends multiple people to hospital
(ABC 6 News) – A two-vehicle crash in Fillmore County on Monday evening sent multiple people to the hospital.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP), at approximately 7:20 p.m., a 2018 GMC Acadia was traveling northbound on Hwy 52 while a 2015 Chevy Suburban was traveling southbound on Hwy 52, when the GMC lost control and struck the Chevy around milepost 27 in Chatfield Township.
Michaelanne Turner, 46, of Dubuque, IA, the driver of the GMC, was transported to St. Marys Hospital. Her injuries are unknown. Passengers, Charlene Sisler, 65, of Dubuque, IA and William Sisler, 66, of Kennesaw, GA were also transported to St. Marys Hospital with unknown injuries.
Shanalee Knight, 39, of Lanesboro, MN, the driver of the Chevy, was transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Everyone involved in the crash was wearing seatbelts, according to MSP.
MSP was assisted at the scene by the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Chatfield Fire and Ambulance.
