Final Paint the Town Pink event canceled

(ABC 6 News) – The Hormel Institute on Wednesday announced that the final Paint the Town Pink event in Austin scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled.

The ‘Freezin’ for a Reason Ice Golf’ event has been canceled due to poor ice conditions because of the recent rain and mild temperatures.

Despite no event, there will still be a check presentation and thank you party on Saturday. It’ll be held at Hoot and Ole’s Tavern, located at 105 11th St. SE in Austin, at 11:00 a.m.

Paint the Town Pink is an annual campaign to raise funds for breast cancer and other cancer research at The Hormel Institute.
