Flight cancelations, delays linger as winter storm departs
(ABC 6 News) – The winter storm that brought heavy snow and ice to the region is pulling away with conditions improving, however flight cancelations and delays remain.
The Twin Cities got the brunt of the storm with a report of 20″ of snow falling in Apple Valley. Other communities around the Twin Cities Metro reported 11-17″.
Dozens of flights have been delayed or canceled at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). As of 1:00 p.m. Thursday, more than 230 flights have been canceled. To keep track of flights at MSP, CLICK HERE.
Rochester had it’s fair share of snow, although not as heavy as the Twin Cities, with reports of 9-14″ from around the city.

Meanwhile, Mason City saw much less snow with reports of 3-5″. The Mason City International Airport has reported 2 cancelations as of 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
