Hawkeyes announce reduced ticket prices for 2023 football season, parking changes
(ABC 6 News) – The University of Iowa Athletics Department announced they are cutting back season ticket prices for the 2023 football season, and that construction will force the school to alter gameday parking.
The university said that 2023 general public season tickets for the seven Hawkeyes home games will cost between $335-$425 compared to the 2022 price of $345-$450, depending on seat location.
The renewal deadline for public and faculty/staff season tickets is Friday, March 31.
Season ticket applications are being accepted online now.
There will also be some big changes to gameday parking. A new parking ramp is being built on Lot 43N, located just north of Kinnick Stadium, and on the former home of Lot 14, a new health sciences building is being built. Those two closures will result in a shuffle of parking for season ticket holders.
The 2023 Hawkeyes home schedule is below:
- Sept. 2 vs Utah State
- Sept. 16 vs Western Michigan
- Sept. 30 vs Michigan State
- Oct. 7 vs Purdue
- Oct. 21 vs Minnesota
- Nov. 11 vs Rutgers
- Nov. 18 vs Illinois
The Hawkeyes won five of their final six games to close the 2022 season including a 21-0 win over Kentucky in the Music City Bowl. The Hawkeyes also won trophy games vs. Wisconsin and Minnesota, finishing the season with a record of 8 wins and 5 losses.
