Hayfield teenager charged with possession of child pornography

(ABC 6 News) – A Hayfield teenager faces nine charges of child porn possession in Dodge County Court.

Michael Nathan Williams, 19, was charged after Dodge County law enforcement allegedly received a Nov. 2022 tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning Child Sex Abuse Materials (CSAM) uploaded to Twitter from a Hayfield user.

The report allegedly included a username and email account that was traced to Williams, as well as evidence that the user had downloaded multiple photos depicting sexual abuse of children.

According to court documents, Williams was arrested by Dodge County law enforcement at the end of the month and said the images were “more than likely” downloaded by him.

Williams appeared in Dodge County Court Thursday, Dec. 1. His pretrial is scheduled for Jan. 18, 2023.
